I love Summer...

Memorial day weekend in NYC...WOOHOO i am having a blast!!...hanging out with the fam is truly the best....

Our goal:
To see as much broadway DISNEY shows we can,
we conquered Tarzan today, beauty and the beast is scheduled for tomorrow....
yup i am a disney freak...

Tarzan was so touching and beautiful...the production team dealing with scene changes and backdrops did an awesome job, i cant imagine how people can be so creative, how do they know what can inspire awe in an audience?.....the singing, dancing, everything...i am such a sucker for performance art...i wish i had that kind of talent...gawd...
It also didnt hurt that Tarzan was so damn sexy lol...Jane didnt deserve him ha!...beside tarzan is a racist, how comes it, he falls in love with the first white chic that comes his way....rubbish....my two cents...

I want to introduce y'all to a book by Tracie Howard's titled "Gold digger's"....i usually stay reading STRICTLY romance novels (the thick ones not m&b's)...but my strictly m&b reading older sister recommended this book to me and i was QUITE stunned that she was straying away from her beloved genre of novels and decided that this book must really be sweet....so i read it..and it turns out that it really was...i could barely put it down...finished it in about 3 hrs....i have since then termed this novel, the "travelling book"....because after telling my friends about it they were all eager to read it and right now it is in boston soon to be dispatched to my friends apt in philly and then to virginia lol.....

I cant put a finger on what exactly i found fascinating BUT all i know was that it was hella interesting.....its a book which encourages discussion, and i cant wait for all my friends to read it, so i can ask them how they feel about certain characters. It is a black author, so you can guess that colorism is discussed QUITE FRANKLY, infact to the point where i had to google the author to find out if she was light skinned or dark skinned...yes it was that serious....so anyway buy the book, borrow the book....ANYTHING!...just go ahead and read the book ladies, lets discuss it...

I love Broadway shows esp the Disney ones as well. My uncle took me to my first Disney show in London...Lion King. Unfortunately I haven't been to any recently. My Mr. is such a bush man so its hard to get him to come along.
