@ Anonymous...THAT is subject to Debate!! I personally pronounce it as "HOT"...BECAUSE it is NOT a french magazine AND its not based on actual "HAUTE" couture...i think its quite "special" lol, to call a Nigerian magazine " OAT" when it has absolutely nada to do with couture or france..I have actually tried saying it, heard people say it, and it just sounds forced and off..The magazine name was always intended to be a play on words - Haute as Hot... but knowing our sweet Nigerians and our tendency to know better than the creator of the magazine, the result is half of the world calling it "HAUTE" and the rest calling it "OAT"...At the end of the day, you say tomato, i say tomatoe! (its meant to be tomatoe though lol)..
lol what a response...there's an Italian designer called Haute and no they don't sell haute couture but it's still pronounced "OAT". Besides Dammie wants Haute to embody class - a quality associated with haute couture - so we might as well say OAT! And it's to -mei-toes not to- mah - toh lol
call it whatever u like, the word is spelt just like d french word and that's d way ppl should pronounce it- oat or whatever correct versions there are out there... if u want it to be hot, ten spell it as that. We dnt av 2 be so ghetto like all those ppl that spell stuff like Konvict, Soulja boi, etc.
newayz, cute video ladies. all gold and foxy and such!
